After combing you can add a few drops of essential oil on the palms of your hands then gentle rub through with your fingertips. Use this oil sparingly as it only takes very little to add a beautiful shine. A little goes a long way. If you use it on dry hair continue putting it through and thinning it out.
Want to super condition your hair? Add some honey to your conditioner, mix it well and apply as you normally would. This is also good for moisture treatments.
Something else you can try for healthy shiny hair and to help with hair loss is taking silica with your daily supplements. Sometimes if it is naturally course or of African descent, it really isn't meant to shine, but it should have a velvet like sheen to it.
